Good snowfall on saturday night, so now the snowpack is pretty perfect here in the Alps.
Season is really ON.

First 2014 winter snowkiting session

We had today our first snowkiting session here in France, spot Col de la Croix de Fer.

Not so much snow.

We were expecting a little bit more actualy.

Anyway, the wind was pretty cool, northern 5-10 knots and the sky sometimes blue when the big clouds went away times by times.

May be a video coming tomorrow.

Arctic Kite Camps in LOFOTEN, Norway.

Here is below the video about the Arctic Kite Camps in the Lofoten islands, Norway.

That was the 1st issue and two camps were set in Ramberg Gjestegärd.

We were living in tiny small red wood houses and had all together the breakfast, lunch, dinner, in the main building at headquarters.

The courses are for new beginners and as well for advanced kiters, all with expert coaching.

Kari Schibevaag is the head-coach and she's been about 6 x worldchampion in snowkiting and wave kitesurfing.

This message here to announce that in 2014 april will be set two winter camps for snowkiting in Lofoten.

So, stay tuned about the further infos coming up about these dates and may be we'll meet together up there.

June 3rd session

What a snowkiting season !
First time I have a session on June ever.
This view is right next above the lake Grand-Maison.
Light wind and dark clouds coming fast.
Cool session anyway.

Skis: Rossignol 180cm SOUL7.
