Next Senepy

Cool Senepy today.

Soft south wind blowing.

Pretty warm so the snow was melting super fast unfortunately.

The super snowshower from yesterday, is already gone and we didn't enjoy any fresh powder.

That's life.

So let's looking for the next snowfall due for tuesday.

Full Moon Signaraux

Still some good snowpack remaining here in the Alps. Big snowshower is due to come on next thursday evening. But before, here is a picture from today 17 december during the sunset and "full moon session" se had till midnight. Amazing feeling. Spot : Les Signaraux. Kite : OZONE Frenzy Ultralite 13m. Senepy video

On wednesday 11 we went to the really difficult summit near Grenoble, it's called "Le Senepy".

First we have to reach the easy spot "La Pierre Plantée" from little ski-resort "Les Signaraux" 1.100m, then further ahead to the 1.700m Senepy summit.

Hard East face to climb with the kite, lot of parts with grass and stones, but amazing landscapes once at the top and wide open snow-fields with some fresh powder snow remaining.

This is the great dome right next in front of our summetime kitesurfing spot "Lake Monteynard".

Sweet home spot

Once again we had today a super session on our home-spot Le Connest near Grenoble city.

There are two slices of air at the moment in our country, the one below has got no wind, and the other one above (about 1.500m elevation) remains pretty windy every day.

Other point : here the snowpack is perfect, still fresh powder snow areas around, although there is really poor snowpack all other spots in the french Alps.

So, we are pretty lucky with this situation and that's the reason why we're enjoying the sessions quite every day.

I manage to find the right settings on my camera/flash so the sunset pictures are getting better and better.

Near to be OK now.

Still powder snow

Once again, this is our home spot "Le Connest", near Grenoble, France.

At the moment, it's the only one place with lot of snow and still powder fresh some parts around.

Kiters are coming from really far as there are lot of mountains with no snow, only rocks and stones.

So we are lucky and enjoying the cool conditions quite everyday.

This afternoon, really strong wind but with PEAK 6m, all was right.

Connest sunset

Strong North wind session at Le Connest today.

This spot is right next to our big city Grenoble.

So we can see the buildings and streets from the snowy domes.

Always nice sunsets up there so I kept kiting until the night and had some pic with the flash.

TROIS EVECHES

Great session today at the Lautaret Pass.

Cool S/E wind blowing so we went up to "Les Trois Evêchés" area.

Super fresh powder snow.

How lucky we are, this is the third time on these high mountains.

Winter is On and the ski-resorts are still closed.
